Bill Parker is a Senior PSMJ Coach, Principal of PSMJ Asia Pacific, Non-Exec Director of PCL Contractors Pacific Rim, and Principal at EPPIC Intelligent Construction Pty Ltd. He has 40 years of global project management experience across construction, development, and design-build contracting on 4 continents.
Once called a “professor of tall buildings,” Bill’s experience includes project managing two of the world’s top five tallest residential buildings completed, Dubai’s Princess Tower and Elite Residence. He was the Project Development Manager for iconic Eureka Tower in Melbourne and together these experiences put Bill at the forefront of Super Highrise construction. Latterly Bill has advised on constructability for the NEOM projects in Saudi Arabia and for a number of the Elleniko projects in Athens.
Invited by the Institute of Structural Engineers to share his unique insights into “Constructability—Engineering for Construction,” Bill has presented in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Astana.
His avowed strategy and goal in project management is to train his project teams to replace him. Guiding and empowering his PM staff to develop their strategies and publicly crediting their achievements has resulted in key staff growth, together with improved project outcomes.
