This year six firms were added to the exclusive list, and one firm, Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd., celebrated its twelfth consecutive year as a Circle of Excellence member.
PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence is comprised of the top 20 percent of firms – across thirteen key performance indicators – in PSMJ’s 2020 A/E Financial Performance Benchmark Survey Report. Earlier this month, PSMJ Resources announced the exceptional architecture and engineering firms that made it onto the 2020 Circle of Excellence list.
Those firms that achieve Circle of Excellence performance levels for four out of the last five years are honored with an even more exclusive accolade, the PSMJ Platinum Award.
For 2020, the 20 Platinum Award winning firms are:

PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence identifies the best-in-class architecture and engineering firms that demonstrate outstanding achievements in areas such as profitability, overhead management, cash flow, productivity, business development, staff growth, and turnover.
“The firms recognized in the Circle of Excellence set the standard for outstanding and sustainable business results,” says Frank A. Stasiowski, FAIA, Founder and CEO of PSMJ Resources. “Platinum Award winners take it to the next level by hitting lofty financial targets year after year.”
PSMJ will honor these high-performing firms live and online at A/E/C THRIVE 2020: The Growth, Profit, and Success Summit for A/E/C Firm Leaders on October 14-16, 2020. This unique conference is an opportunity to hear directly from the leaders of top-performing A/E firms and other industry visionaries on specific growth, profit, and performance improvement practices and how to replicate them.
With data from 323 A/E firms across the United States and Canada, PSMJ’s 2020 A/E Financial Performance Benchmark Survey Report is the go-to industry resource for firms aiming to increase cash flow, lower overhead, and improve overall financial results. Now in its 40th edition, the comprehensive report provides the most valuable research and insight available for making critical decisions that impact the success of a firm.
